Description
William Wolfensberger, pastor in Fuldera from 1914 to 1916, is known for his stories and poems. On the occasion of his 100th death anniversary, the "Promenade William Wolfensberger" was created above Fuldera with a total of five benches where his works can be found. What Wolfensberger describes in his stories and poems is right in front of you on the 1.3 km long promenade (a circular hike of 4.5 km from Fuldera).
Directions
From Fuldera cumün, head upriver through the village. 50 m after the Fuldera d'Aint PostAuto stop, turn right into the forest and follow the hiking trail toward Lü. After crossing the Rombach stream, climb left up to the lonely Runc barn. Here begins the scenic and almost flat "Promenade William Wolfensberger". At the five benches, you will find the works of the poet-pastor. The promenade ends at the small road to Lü. There, walk 50 m downhill, take the shortcut right over the marked hiking trail and return to the road, which you follow for 500 m to the Furom cross-country center. Then turn right onto the hiking trail "A la riva dal Rom" to the bridge, and from there left along a field path back to Fuldera.
