The «Sprechende Strasse» project brings the historical, cultural, and tourist significance of the Stelvio Pass and Umbrail roads to life through a podcast available at twelve cross-border listening stations. In this way, the shared past is conveyed in a modern way, and cultural tourism is promoted in a sustainable manner.

The cross-border project «Stilfserjoch & Umbrail Pass—The Speaking Roads» aims to convey their history in a contemporary, sustainable, and accessible way. It is based on a small-scale project that has already been developed and approved; this project is now being implemented and will simultaneously strengthen cultural identity and cultural tourism in Terra Raetica.
