Piz Dora

From Fuldera D'Aint you walk on an alpine road almost up to Alp Sadra, where in summer the cows of Fuldera graze. Below Alp Sadra, the hiking trail leads up to the right, where you will soon come to the beautifully situated hut near Funtauna Grossa. As the name suggests, this place is quite wet and boggy.  With a little luck you can observe marmots, chamois, bearded vultures and eagles. The trail continues to the era da la Bescha hut, the trees are becoming fewer and fewer and allow a view of the other side of the valley. Next, head to Lai da Chazforà. The path continues a little below the lake in the direction of Piz Dora. Finally, there is an ascent of about 350 meters in altitude to the Piz Dora.
On the descent we choose the variant down to Alp Sadra and back to Fuldera at Lai da Chazforà.

It is also possible to climb Piz Dora from Alp Sprella (Val Mora) – through Valbella.
