Description

Equipped with the Swiss National Park app, available free of charge for your iPhone or Android device, and the children’s trail booklet with audio CD, you hike from car park 1 at Ova Spin (P1 Champlönch bus stop) towards Il Fuorn (hiking routes 12/13, Postbus stop P6 Il Fuorn). On the way, you will hear an acoustic signal at 10 different locations. A figure or an animal appears on the display and tells you an interesting story that is directly related to the surroundings. The Champlönch booklet is available at the National Park Centre in Zernez (phone 081 851 41 41) or from our online Shop.

  • The hiking path begins at parking lot 1 on the Ofenpassstrasse and the PostBus stop «Champlönch (P1)»
  • First, the path ascends to the east, then follows a gutter railing to the elongated Alp Champlönch (this was the former route over the Ofenpass before the current road alignment was chosen in the 19th century)
