Konzert mit Bandura, einem Saiteninstrument aus der Ukraine

A special accent will be set by the ensemble "BERISKA" from Kiev, which will perform sacred songs from the traditional Ukrainian repertoire, folk songs with texts by famous Ukrainian poets and melodies on typical instruments of the country. The famous Cossack ballads from ancient Ukraine, which not only sound melancholy, but can also sweep you away, are also performed accompanied by banduras. The diverse musical range of traditional Ukrainian music will be experienced live by the listeners of this concert.

This music is intended to convey an insight into the Ukrainian soul - the depth, the warmth, the tenderness and the love of the homeland.

The participants of the ensemble are professional musicians and students of the Kyiv and Lviv Academy of Music and members of the Kyiv and Lviv Free Music Association and Philharmonic in Chernihiv.

The ensemble was founded in Kiev in 2003 and since its inception it has made a name for young musicians and in the context of benefit concerts in Great Britain for supporting children's homes in the Kiev and Chernihiv regions, among others.

The ensemble "BERISKA" from Kiev has also made several successful guest appearances in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Denmark, France and Luxembourg.
