The tour begins on a smuggler's path in the Val d'Uina, impressively carved into the rock. 100 meters above the bottom of the gorge, despite the securing by means of chains and handrails, tread resistance and a head for heights are required. The subsequent single trail leads to the hosted Sesvenna hut (2256 m). The rest of the way, mostly on gravel and a short stretch on the main road, leads down to the South Tyrolean village of Laatsch (1250 m). Following the Rom stream, the day's destination is reached in Val Müstair.
