Sitting together and embroidering

Embroidery Day is celebrated worldwide on July 30. We join in the celebrations and organize a cosy get-together together with the Tessanda hand weaving workshop.
The monastery and Tessanda invite you to sit together over coffee and cake and indulge in embroidery to your heart's content.

- You can take your own embroidery with you and work on it or

- You can come - perhaps spontaneously - with empty hands and buy the complete embroidery set "püt per püt" on site to make a pincushion. You can then take the embroidery you have started home with you.
The embroidery kit consists of hand-woven 100% linen fabric, embroidery thread, needle and filling material at a price of CHF 48.

The event will take place in the Chasa Selm near the St. Johann monastery in Müstair.
The room is open from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm.
You can come and go as you please.
No registration is required.

We welcome beginners and advanced stitchers. An embroiderer will be present and can assist if required.

Catering: We offer homemade cakes from the Hotel Chalavaina and coffee. You are welcome to bring your own lunch or have it catered for in one of the nearby restaurants.
