Auf Reise durch die Galaxie

Val Müstair is a paradise for stargazers. Due to its proximity to the uninhabited national park and the distance to conurbations, Val Müstair is one of the darkest areas in Switzerland. The darkness of the night and the often clear mountain air offer perfect conditions for discovering planets, constellations and the Milky Way. Here you can see about 100x more celestial bodies than in urban areas with a lot of light pollution.

On Friday, 26 September, the Biosfera Val Müstair, together with the Observatori Astronomic in Lü and the Scoula Val Müstair, invite you to a space journey and night sky observation in Tschierv. We have the mobile planetarium "Spacedome" as a guest. In it, the cosmic tour guide, Erich Strehler, takes interested parties on a journey to remote galaxies, stars and planets by means of 360° projection and thus makes astronomy tangible.
