Fair weather course to the Ofen Pass

When the sky is clear, the PostBus runs more often: from 28 June to 19 October 2025, PostBus will run two additional services from Zernez to the Ofen Pass every day in good weather. The departures at 09.09 and 10.09 from «Zernez, staziun» will take you directly to the top of the Süsom Givè pass - ideal for hikers, nature lovers and guests who want to discover the Swiss National Park or Val S-charl. Those travelling by train from the Lower Engadine have a three-minute changeover time in Zernez to the fair-weather courses towards the Ofen Pass.

What's special: The additional trips only take place if the weather forecast is favourable. Decisions are made three days in advance and can be seen in the SBB online timetable. This means that planning remains flexible and the excursion is perfectly coordinated depending on the weather.

Important to know: Bicycles cannot be transported on these journeys.
