Steinway Festival. Jazz, Raphael Jost (piano), Raphael Walser (bass)

Dr. Hugo Leutenegger kindly gave us his Steinway grand piano. With some concerts we would like to highlight this wonderful instrument in this anniversary year and thus also express our gratitude.

The singer and pianist Raphael Jost has been one of the greatest young talents on the Swiss jazz scene ever since he was awarded the European Young Jazz Prize in 2012. Unmistakable is his powerful yet versatile voice. From 2008 to 2013, bassist Raphael Walser studied at the jazz department of the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK. As a sideman he has performed at renowned jazz festivals Montreux, Burghausen, Festival da Jazz St. Moritz and Langnau.
